With reference to the above mentioned subject, during site visit by our representative as on dated 04.08.2024. It was noticed that you are adding water in Concrete transit Mixer during the concreting of precast superstructure Girder for span S2 girder G-6 at River Bridge which will creates cracks on surface/reducing the strength of concrete. Further we noticed the temperature was high at the time of placing concrete.

You are advised to start works in morning times, to avoid placing of concrete at higher temperature.

It was noticed that the de shuttering work was done and the top portion of the girder reflects a surface cracks. And same was highlighted with paint. It is the result that of you are adding water in Concrete transit Mixer during the concreting of precast superstructure Girder for span S2 girder G-6 at River Bridge.

You are herewith notified these defect as non conformation product and necessary further action to comply for remedial action.

With reference to the above mentioned subject and your explanation vide letter above, we are accepting your proposal to take additional precautions/measures for concreting of precast concrete girders. But for already Casted PSC Girders of Span (A1-P1) you have to carry out the Load Test on Deck Slab and inject with POSROC Compound only for already developed Cracks as per manufacturer instructions.

So please conduct the Load Test and submit the results for closing the NCPN No. 9
